Hurm… GMU on Foursquare

Here’s a list of GMU-based or associated locations on Foursquare, in case you want a few more places to check in.

Randall’s Cafe @ GMU [That’s at Prince William Campus, in case you don’t recognize it.]
Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro Station

Mercatus Center at George Mason University [You know, I don’t think I’ve ever actually been there. Interestingly, the Mayor here lists their job as a sign-language interpreter on Facebook.]

Anyway, there’s a list of all the GMU-tagged locations on Foursquare. I have to admit, I’m a bit puzzled. Isn’t the point of Foursquare to check-in for nights out? Like partying, having fun, doing cool stuff with friends?

I guess you could make an argument that the parties in Tidewater are just that kick-ass, but S&TI? Really? Are you having a party in class… or are you just inflating your check-in count by checking into the sad little student org meeting (the one with free food) at SUBII?

Now I’m off to check-in at SUBI. Hey! We are ordering Pizza into the office :P.
